Support Hopkins

What is the Annual Fund?

The Hopkins Annual Fund is the School’s yearly campaign supporting the entire Hopkins experience.  Annual gifts help to fund academics, arts, athletics, faculty support, financial aid and technology that tuition alone cannot afford. Annual Giving is the true lifeblood of the School, with an immediate and direct impact on the lives of today’s students.

  • Q: Can I choose where my gift goes?

Yes–while the Annual Fund helps literally every aspect of Hopkins, you can designate your gift to the area (or areas) that mean the most to you.  Our Annual Fund is designed to allow you to choose between Academics, Arts, Athletics, Faculty Support, Financial Aid, or Technology…you can also select Area of Greatest Need and trust that your gift will be applied to the budget that needs support at the time you contribute.
  • Q: What does the Annual Fund do?

The Annual Fund is the School’s yearly campaign supporting the entire Hopkins experience. Your Annual Fund gift can be designated to the area that means the most to you.  The Annual Fund, along with the endowment, helps to fund the 18% of the budget that is not covered by tuition dollars.

  • Q: What is considered leadership giving and why does it matter?

Hopkins has several recognition levels to show our appreciation for those leadership gifts that help to set the tone that drives the success of the Annual Fund.  While all gifts are incredibly important to the School, last year 87% of all monies raised in the Annual Fund came from leadership gifts.

The recognition levels are as follows:

    Head of School Circle
    $50,000 and above

    Walter Camp 1876 Associates
    $25,000

    Day Prospect Hill Associates
    $15,000

    Charles Ives 1894 Associates
    $10,000

    George Lovell Associates
    $5,000

    Helen Barton Associates
    $2,500

    Founder’s Circle
    $1,660

If you are able to support Hopkins at one of these levels, we thank you for your generosity and look forward to appreciating you in person at a leadership celebration event in the late Fall.
