Hopkins, Hyde produce 300-yard rushers

Jake Moscarelli '17 rushed for a career-high 323 yards and three touchdowns on 41 carries to help the Hopkins football team beat Long Island Lutheran 42-35 and earn its first victory of the season with a prep school win at Brookville, New York.

made his second interception of the game with 27 seconds left in the fourth quarter to seal the win for the Hilltoppers (1-6). Nick Bailey '19  threw for 202 yards and an additional three TDs, and Walker Schneider '15 caught six balls for 110 yards and two touchdowns. Travis Etienne had a pair of TD runs for Long Island Lutheran (4-3).
