Hopkins, Hyde produce 300-yard rushers

Jake Moscarelli '17 rushed for a career-high 323 yards and three touchdowns on 41 carries to help the Hopkins football team beat Long Island Lutheran 42-35 and earn its first victory of the season with a prep school win at Brookville, New York.

Mike Leone '15 made his second interception of the game with 27 seconds left in the fourth quarter to seal the win for the Hilltoppers (1-6). Nick Bailey '19  threw for 202 yards and an additional three TDs, and Walker Schneider '15 caught six balls for 110 yards and two touchdowns. Travis Etienne had a pair of TD runs for Long Island Lutheran (4-3).
