Spring Teams Head to Disney World for Pre-Season Training

The Hopkins Softball, Baseball, and Golf Teams will be heading to Orlando, Florida in preperation for the coming season. The website will be updated periodically over break. Check back for updates!

Hopkins Softball 2015 – Spring Training Itinerary

Saturday, March 14 12:30 pm – bus departs for Bradley Intl Airport

4:05pm – Southwest #1315 depart for Orlando, arrive 7:05pm

7:30pm – depart by bus to Caribbean Beach Resort

8:15pm – arrive and check into rooms

Sunday, March 15 7:30am – registration at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex

8:00am – practice

10:00am – game vs. Buena Regional HS (NJ) L 5-12

12:00pm – Team Celebration Awards (we receive 10-year

Participation award)

5:00pm – team trip to Magic Kingdom for traditional Splash

Mountain ride together

Monday, March 16 11:00am – batting cage #2

12:00pm – practice

2:00pm – game vs. Vernon township HS (NJ) L 10-13

Evening team trip to Epcot

Tuesday, March 17 8:00am – batting cage #1

10:00am – practice

12:00pm – game vs. Bearden HS (TN)

Late afternoon trip to Hollywood Studios

Wednesday, March 18 9:00am – batting cage #3

10:00am - practice

12:00pm – game vs Phillips Academy (MA)

Friday, March 20 9:30am – breakfast with Disney characters at Chef Mickey’s

11:00am – team trip to Universal Studios

1:40pm – team lunch at Hard Rock Café, Universal Studios

Saturday, March 21 6:00am – bus departs for Orlando airport

9:20am – Southwest #3286 depart for Bradley Intl

1:55pm – flight arrives Bradley Intl (one stop)

2:30pm – bus to Hopkins

3:30pm – bus arrives Hopkins

Take Southwest Flight 665 from Hartford (BDL) departing at 6:45 AM
Arrive in Orlando, FL at 9:50 AM
Take Disney Magical express shuttle to Disney All-star sports hotel.
Check in and Drop bags in the rooms.

Move to Hilton Bonnet Creek Hotel
11AM Short Game Clinic @ Waldorf Astoria GC
1pm Mears Shuttle to Bay Hill golf tournament

Warm up: 8AM till tee time
