Alumni Weekend 2021 goes virtual! We remain committed to providing the opportunity for classes to gather in person as it becomes safe and will stay in touch with class leaders regarding those plans later in the year. In the meantime, we hope that you will join us for many exciting events as part of Alumni Weekend, June 4-5, 2021! Reconnect with longtime friends, former faculty members, and take time to recognize the impact your time at Hopkins had on your life.
The weekend schedule and description of events are below. Have ideas for your class? Email Katey Varanelli, Director of Alumni Engagement, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Razor Staff Alumni https://hopkins.zoom.us/j/96779688367 If you would like to start an affinity group based on your interests, please contact Katey Varanelli at email@example.com.
8-9 PM EST
Alumni Sports Virtual Gatherings While not the same as playing, Men's Lacrosse and all Tennis/Squash alumni are invited to reminisce and learn about the program today. Bring any (digital) copies of past team or action photos you may have, as well as your favorite lacrosse or racquets memory!
Hear from this year's Distinguished Alumni about her work in psycho-legal research. Dr. Ellsworth conducted pioneering studies on death penalty attitudes, eyewitness performance, and juries, and is one of the originators of the Appraisal Theory of Emotion. To read more about her work, click here.
Drop in and visit virtually with some of your favorite faculty members from the past and present. Faculty members will have virtual rooms that you can drop in, then easily visit someone else! Faculty member participants include: John Anderson, Dana Blanchard, Jim Bucar, Erika Chapin, Brad Czepiel, Rocco DeMaio, Dan Drummond, Bill Ewen, Susan Elconin Feinberg, Clay Hall, David Harpin, Lan Lin, Errol Saunders, Peter Ziou and more!
8 PM EST Class Gatherings (for classes ending in 1s and 6s) https://hopkins.zoom.us/j/96658016922 Reunion class committees will host virtual gatherings for each class. Grab a beverage and snack and catch up with classmates you may not have seen in years. A perk to the virtual format- easier participation from those who live far away and haven't travelled back for an in person reunion!
