Erin Earley '17 Advances to Olympic Trials

At the fourth stop of the Arena Pro Swim Series in Mesa, Arizona last week, Erin Earley '17 qualified for the Olympic Trials in the 400 meter individual medley.  This is the third event (400 IM, 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke) that she has qualified for to compete in this June in Omaha, Nebraska.

The field in Arizona included swimmers from 37 countries, and over 100 past and current Olympic team members from around the world.  In Erin's 200 meter backstroke, she earned a spot in the championship final as one of only three American swimmers in the field.  Erin is currently ranked 15th in the U.S. and 44th in the world.

Congratulations, Erin!
