Girls Swimming Captures Bud Erich Title; Boys Finish Third
Hopkins girls won the 11-team Bud Eric Invitational, finishing with 866 points. Rebecca Maher and Meghan Earley finished second (5:17.26) and third (5:28.70), respectively, in the 500 freestyle. Maher also finished second in the 100 breaststroke (1:10.91).
The Hilltoppers' 200 freestyle relay team placed second (1:43.74), and Kyle Stengel finished third in the 100 backstroke (1:02.13).
Hopkins Boys finished third in the Bud Erich Invitational behind Connor Maher's victores in the 200 individual medley (1:56.84) and the 100 freestyle (48.53). Ben Weill won the diving event, Doug Barber took the 500 freestyle (4:53.75), Pablo Guevara won the 100 backstroke (54.07) and the Hillltoppers won the 400 freestyle relay (3:17.44).
