"Cymbeline!" & the Festival Fringe

The Shakespeare on a Shoestring players have returned from nine days in Edinburgh, where they performed their adaptation of Cymbeline! at the Festival Fringe to great success. Their adventure included time for visiting the local sights, including the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, Rosslyn Chapel, and a hike to Arthur’s Seat, as well as the chance to enjoy many other Fringe plays and performances, including Austentatious, Guru Dudu's Silent Dance Party, and the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, to name just a few.

Thank you so much for putting the work back out into the world of The Fringe. My heart was absolutely soaring watching your students perform. They were delightful, spirited, and spot-on. Shakespeare on a Shoestring: Cymbeline! salvaged wonderful elements of past Shoestring creations, while simultaneously giving birth to a brand new masterpiece clearly your troupe’s own. Fun.Fresh. And dare I say it, educational. So grateful to you and your troupe for keeping the journey alive.
