Italian Students connect with Pen Pals & Bake Cookies

Students taking Italian at Hopkins have the opportunity to learn through many different projects. Recently, students in Mrs. Boscolo Suteu’s Italian 2 classes have been corresponding with pen pals at a school in Padua, Italy. The class in Italy is learning English, so the students exchanged letters alternating Italian and English last semester to learn from each other, and in December they exchanged holiday cards.

Junior School students taking the Italian Culture activity have recently had the opportunity to make pizzas and anginette cookies with Dr. Picarazzi. What a fun and delicious way to be introduced to the Italian language!
