The two Hopkins Robotics teams competed in the First Tech Challenge (FTC) Eastern Super Regionals in Scranton, PA on March 16–18 over spring break. The teams competed against 72 teams from the across the country including Jamaica and Wisconsin. The A team ended regionals with a 7-2 record, placing 7th out of 72, earning them a spot in the FTC World Championship in Detroit, Michigan next month. The team will compete with over 100 teams from over 60 countries.
The Rookie B Team, whose teammates built their first robot ever for this year’s season, did very well in their meets, advancing to Regionals. Congratulations to both teams for their accomplishments this season, and good luck to the A Team at Worlds next month!
