Grandparents' and Special Friends' Day

On Wednesday April 18, seventh grade students had the opportunity to invite their grandparents and special friends to Hopkins for a first-hand glimpse at their lives on the Hill. Seventy guests were welcomed to Hopkins by 7th Grade Head Adviser Carrie Shea and Head of School Kai Bynum, before they enjoyed choir and instrumental performances, and poetry recitations by Junior School students. The rest of the morning was spent attending class, where grandparents and special friends were encouraged to be active participants in the students' learning process.

Thank you to all of our grandparents and special friends who traveled to Hopkins for this event. We hope you enjoyed learning more about the Hopkins community! And thank you to the teachers and students who made our guests so welcome on our campus.

Please see the below photo galleries to see your portraits and all the fun that was had in the classroom.
