Hopkins Welcomes Prospective Students to Open House

On a clear and windy fall day, Hopkins School hosted more than 350 prospective students at its annual Open House. Students and their families had an opportunity to meet with faculty, staff, coaches and current parents to learn about a wide variety of topics, including the Hopkins curriculum, athletics program and sports teams, transportation options, college counseling, theater and music performing opportunities, student clubs and financial aid.

In his welcoming remarks, Dr. Kai Bynum, Head of School, spoke of Hopkins' commitment to fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity and love of learning.

Speaking directly to the advantages of a day school versus a boarding option, Dr. Bynum emphasized the benefits of having children home every night, the strength of the parent/school bond and how all of us at Hopkins—faculty, staff and coaches—partner together to ensure a child is known and reaches their fullest potential.

The deadline for applications to Hopkins is January 15, 2019

Pamela McKenna, Director of Admission, encouraged prospective students to start the application process as soon as possible to ensure that interviews and hosted visits could be scheduled before the deadline.  For detailed information on how to apply to Hopkins, click here.  https://www.hopkins.edu/page/admission/apply-to-hopkins
