HDA's Technical Theater Program Growing

The Hopkins Drama Association (HDA) has been bringing in some new gear and helping hands for the 2018–2019 season.  New Hopkins mathematics teacher Abraham Kirby-Galen has joined the Performing Arts team as a technical theater advisor and coordinator, aiding in steadily developing a comprehensive tech theater experience for the students backstage with HDA. Mr. Kirby-Galen has organized the tech crews for all of the fall productions in Lovell, and is becoming acquainted with the theater's new lighting board. Additionally, JT McLaughlin, a contracted sound technician and audio engineer, recently held a sound seminar to teach students and faculty how to use the theater's new sound board. All of these technical additions will come together for this year's musical, Into The Woods, opening at the end of February.
