Hopkins Soccer Honors
Recently, Senior Captain Bruno Moscarini and Varsity Girls Coach Gerard Casanova were honored by the State of Connecticut.
Bruno Moscarni '19 was selected as an All-State Soccer Player by the Connecticut Soccer Coaches Association. He was recently honored at the CSCA All-State Banquet.
Coach Gerard Casanova was selected as the 2018 Connecticut Prep Coach of the Year, and was honored at the same banquet. Coach Casanova has coached the Girls Varsity Squad for over twenty years, and during that period, the team has received eleven invitations to compete in the New England Tournament and captured the WWNEPSSA Division Championship in 2013. The award was especially poignant, as this marked his final year as head coach of the Varsity Girls Team.
