Connor Hartigan '19 wins Tom Betts Senior Prize for French

Congratulations to senior Connor Hartigan who has won the Tom Betts Senior Prize from the CT chapter of the American Association of Teacher of French (AATF). The competition required competing students to submit writing samples, and an original essay in French, as well as a teacher recommendation and other pertinent information. Three state finalists were selected, and each had a thirty-minute oral panel interview in French. In addition to the award, Connor will receive a $1000 prize at the AATF Connecticut Cérémonie de Remise des Prix which will be held at Hopkins on May 14.
