Students Join the National Chinese Honor Society

On Tuesday, March 21st, the Hopkins Chinese program held its first National Chinese Honor Society (NCHS) Induction Ceremony. NCHS was established in 1993 to recognize those accomplished high school students who study Chinese as a world language. It is a scholastic organization that promotes and recognizes students who demonstrate citizenship, leadership, and community service.

Congratulations to the eleven seniors who have been inducted into the NCHS. They are: Tyler Cipriano, Ashley Chin, Maliya Ellis, Lien Har, Alex Hughes, Cyrus Illick, Dylan Maloy, James Schaefer, Lauren Seto, Jordan Shand, and Liana Tilton.
