Robotics Teams Qualify for State Championships

Congratulations to our two Hopkins Robotics teams, Maroon and Gray, for qualifying for the State Championships on February 22! The teams competed on Saturday, Jan. 25 during the Connecticut FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Qualifier in Wolcott.

Through the FTC, students are challenged to design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in a head-to-head challenge in an alliance format. Guided by adult coaches and mentors, students develop STEM skills and practice engineering principles, while realizing the value of hard work, innovation, and working as a team.
