Congratulations to the 2019-2020 Hopkins Drama Association for earning 21 HALO Award Nominations, including Best Musical (Spamalot) and Best Classical Play (Hamlet)!
The HALO Awards were founded in 2004 by the Seven Angels Theatre in Waterbury. The program recognizes the contributions of students to their high school theater programs. Since its founding, the HALO Awards has become the largest such program in the state of Connecticut with over 80 private and public schools participating. Hopkins will participate in the Wednesday, June 24 virtual ceremony, where the Halos will also acknowledge all of the spring productions that were either cancelled or found a way to share their show online. For Hopkins, that means they will salute the podcast production of Execution of Justice.
