Hopkins drops Friday night game at Choate

The Hilltoppers traveled to nearby Choate for a Friday night game. Under a mesmeric orange sky and later under floodlights, Hopkins jumped out to a 1-0 lead. Munib Kassem (2025) fed Moustapha Gassama (2023) with a laser pass across the face of goal. The junior's clever run allowed him to finish simply from close range.

Choate scored on a penalty later in the half, and the teams went into the break tied at one apiece. The Javelinas scored three goals in quick succession in the second half and finished as winners.

Hopkins returns to FAA action on Wednesday at St. Luke's. Kickoff is at 4:30.
