FAA meet #1
Wed 9/22, Sherwood Island State Park, all FAA teams, 5k.

All FAA teams represented:
Greenwich Academy, Greenwich Country Day (new to the league), Masters (returning to the league after a hiatus), Brunswick, Sacred Heart (Greenwich), Rye, King, Greens Farms, Holy Child, St Lukes.

All races were dually scored. The championship scores are listed more prominently in the results, but only the dual scores count for regular-season league results.

Girls
In the girls' race, sophomore Ava Maccaro was the first Hopkins finisher, finishing 5th overall. Freshman Sarah Galvani-Townsend placed 12th. Senior captain Saraswathi Navaratnam-Tomayko finished 16th, followed by sophomore Anna Capelle, running in her first ever XC race. Fellow rookie Laila Kenkare rounded out the scoring in 19th place. The girls finished with an 8-1 record, losing to Sacred Heart. The girls were running without a few runners, including senior captain Nana Dondorfol-Amos, so this was an encouraging return to racing and rust-buster.
