Hilltoppers win in New Canaan
Hopkins traveled to St. Luke's for an FAA clash this afternoon. In the first half, Moustapha Gassama (2023) found Munib Kassem (2025), who ended a mazy dribble with a neat finish into the corner of the goal. Kassem turned provider in the second half. His outside of the foot cross bounced before Gassama directed a header into the net.
Captain Owen Lamothe (2022) played well in goal and made a few key saves in the final minutes to lead the Hilltoppers to victory.
Hopkins next plays at GCDS on Saturday.
