Hopkins gets the shutout in FAA win

Junior Michael Kluger scored twice in the first five minutes of this afternoon's FAA clash against King. Both were thunderbolts, illuminating an otherwise overcast day.

Senior Liam Spellacy then scored a long-drive of his own after a pass from junior Savan Parikh. In the second half, Kluger found junior Moustapha Gassama, who prodded home from close range.

Senior captains Max Gordon and Owen Lamothe anchored the Hopkins backline to its third shutout of the season. Also contributing at the back were Parikh and seniors Albert Yang, Elio DiMauro, Colin Gray, and Jai Desai. Sophomore Jonathan Perez closed the game out in goal.

Hopkins next hosts Canterbury on Saturday. Kickoff is at 2:30.
