    Head Coach: Whitney Stewart

The Hopkins squash program has hosted an average of 60 players a day since the 2010 opening of the Kneisel Squash Center.  The squash program teaches new players the fundamentals of the game; additionally it coaches regional and national level players advanced and developing concepts.  The aim is for every player to experience a love for sport and camaraderie.

The squash program has competitive teams in the winter at the junior school, JV, and varsity levels; varsity teams compete at New Englands and Nationals annually.  Informal squash in the fall and spring, as well as open courts after school, support our players and mission.  Summer camps for beginner, intermediate, and advanced players have spread the game since 2010.

Hopkins graduates play or have recently played at school such as Yale, Williams, Middlebury, Brown, MIT, and Haverford; team alums are always welcome back to the courts and the huddle.

Head Coach Whitney Stewart joined Hopkins in 2018. She has been playing squash since age 7.  Coach Stewart is a Two-time US Junior Champion and a Two-time Canadian Junior Champion. Throughout high school, Coach Stewart maintained Top 10 National Ranking. Part of a winning National Champion Team her freshman year at Yale College, she achieved 1st Team All-Ivy All-American, and Senior year #1 on the Yale team.  After college in Paris, ranked 5th as a professional in France, Coach Stewart helped to win the National Club Team Championship.  A regular team player, squash has taken her worldwide to Bermuda, the Caribbean, France, South Africa, and Australia.  Coach Stewart loves the game of squash, the sense of community and the satisfaction of successful competition.  Most recently, she has been Coach of Staples High School boys and girls squash teams and the new Westport Middle School teams.
