The 2015–2016 School year is under way!

New students arrived on campus Friday, September 4 for their orientation day, where they met their head advisers, adviser groups and fellow classmates. The 7th and 9th Grade students got to know one another during special activities organized by the Adam Kreiger Adventure Program.

On Tuesday, September 8, the first day of school commenced with an all-school assembly in the Walter Camp Athletic Center. Head of School Barbara Riley welcomed the students back to the Hill and introduced the new faculty and staff. Mr. Roberts reviewed important parking and transportation information and introduced Will Simon ’16, Student Council President. Will gave a wonderful speech and reviewed how many days each of the classes have left at Hopkins. The assembly ended with a performance of the first movement of the Elgar Cello Concerto by Shira Bedford '16 and Noah Daponte-Smith '16 on cello and piano, respectively. Please see the attached video to watch their performance.

Here's wishing all our students, faculty and staff a great school year ahead!
