This fund was established in 2015 by Richard Ferguson, Class of 1963 HGS, to honor Ib Jorgensen’s extraordinary contributions to Hopkins School from 1956—1994. During that time period, Mr. Jorgensen was an adviser, a role model, taught math, served as the Audio-Visual Director, and coached Boys soccer and Junior School tennis. In addition, he chaperoned numerous, enthusiastic Hilltoppers throughout the U.S. including Florida, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico and many other western states. He also led many ski trips to Austria, France and Vermont, including the annual ski trip to Stowe, VT, for over 30 years.
