Kate Lupo '06 Speaks to the Class of 2016

On Friday, May 20, the senior class was inducted into the Hopkins Alumni/ae Association at a lovely luncheon on the Calarco Library patio.

Head Adviser to the senior class, Lars Jorgensen spoke to the students about their last few weeks at Hopkins and encouraged them to enjoy every moment of it, rather than letting it race by. Jedd Whitlock, Director of Development, then introduced Bruce DelMonico ’87, former President of the Alumni/ae Association, who addressed the class and welcomed them into the Association. The Alumni/ae Association provides opportunities to always remain connected to Hopkins wherever you are in the world. Barbara Riley then introduced alumnus Kate Lupo ’06, who gave the students advice about life, college and finding a career. Kate has recently started her own business as a career mentor who assists college students and recent graduates in obtaining entry-level jobs and internships in the business side of the entertainment industry. She also shared some memories from her time at Hopkins, and invited them all to keep in touch with her through the website she built for them at http://www.hopkins2016.com

Please view Kate’s address and remarks from Bruce DelMonico and Barbara Riley in the attached videos.
