Welcome to the 2017-2018 Admission Season

The application for students interested in joining Hopkins in the fall of 2017 is now available online.

To apply to Hopkins, you need to complete the student and parent portion of the application, and indicate whether or not you will be applying for financial aid. Once those pieces are submitted, you will be contacted about how to set up an interview. Interviews are with the student and parent(s)/guardian(s) separately. Additionally, students will need a recommendation from their current English and Math teachers, and a School Counselor or Principal (the specific person for this recommendation may vary by school). We will ask that the school send a transcript of last year’s grades and the current grades for the first marking period of this year, when available. Lastly, students must take either the ISEE or SSAT test. We recommend you schedule the test no later than December, in case of illness or inclement weather. Applications are due January 15th. Hopkins is a test center for the December 10th date. Financial aid applications are due on January 15th as well. To apply for financial aid, families must fill out the SSS by NAIS and follow the steps as outlined there and onHopkins.edu.

If you are interested in finding out if Hopkins is a good match for you, Open House is Sunday, October 23rd. For grades 9-12, the program runs from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. For grades 7&8, the program runs from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. There are also three tour dates this fall: November 9, November 30, and December 7.
