Hopkins Wins Against Pomfret

The Hilltoppers were able to dominate Pomfret on Saturday. The scoring started fifteen minutes into the game when Sarah Traynor connected on a pass from Libby Gardner to put Hopkins on the board first. Ten minutes later with 5:52 to play in the first half Liana Tilton fired a pass into the circle where Libby Gardner was waiting to put the ball past the goalkeepwer giving Hopkins a 2-0 advantage leading into the second half. After a quick break, Hopkins got back on the board just three minutes into the second half when Charlotte Wang scored on a fast break. Less than ten minutes later Caroline Stanley fired a shot from the top of the circle putting the Hilltoppers up 4-0 with sixteen minutes remaining in the game. Finally, Annie Banks found Charlotte Wang in the circle to put one final goal on the board.
