Hopkins Falls to GFA
The Hopkins girls ran up against a very solid Green's Farms team in their home opener. The teams traded early goals, but GFA took control and steadily pulled away, establishing a 13-3 lead at halftime. Things slowed down in the second half and the game ended at 15-5. Annie Banks led Hopkins with 4 goals and Ashley Chin added one for her first varsity score. Libby Gardner added an assist for Hopkins. Aislinn O'Brien did a terrific job in goal for Hopkins with 9 saves.
