The Hilltoppers took a first-half lead against Cheshire Academy after some impressive passing. Junior Michael Imevbore crossed for freshman Michael Kluger, who took one touch in the box before firing home with his left foot. Cheshire equalized before halftime.
In the second half, Hopkins again took the lead through junior Dan Tencic. Frosh Max Fujimori found Tencic at the top of the box, and he finished with a left-footed strike back across goal.
Cheshire scored two unanswered goals, and the game finished 3-2.
