Hopkins lost 3-1 and then "could only watch" the typically over-the-top Brunswick Homecoming festivities.
The Bruins hopped out to a 1-0 lead before frosh Max Fujimori equalized moments later. Brunswick scored on a penalty before half-time.
The Hilltoppers fought back again, scoring from a well-executed free-kick before a befuddled assistant referee ruled it out for offside. Brunswick scored from that restart, and the game finished 3-1.
