Bodhi ‘26 Competes in NASA Lunar Loo Challenge

Bodhi '26 has earned third place honors in his age group in the NASA Lunar Loo Challenge – a competition to design a functional toilet for the International Space Station that would work in both microgravity and lunar gravity.
Bodhi’s original design, the “CosmoCommode” incorporates anti-gravity, created by relative centrifugal force, to move waste away from the astronaut. In a congratulatory message from the challenge organizers, they told him, “your solution was creative and insightful and impressed the judging panel.” Bodhi will receive a certificate and some NASA swag for his efforts. Bodhi was also interviewed for his project on local news, watch the feature here.
