HARPS Students Share their Summer Research

On Tuesday, October 17, the 2022-2023 cohort of students enrolled in the HARPS program (Hopkins Authentic Research Program in Science) showcased their summer laboratory research findings through poster presentations. Over the course of the summer, students served as interns in research laboratories across the globe. The poster symposium followed an open format, encouraging members of the Hopkins community, which included parents, faculty, staff, students, and invited guests, to explore all the projects and engage with the student presenters through questions and discussions.

During their presentations, each student conveyed their enthusiasm for their respective projects and discussed how their participation in the summer research experience had influenced their future academic and professional plans. This event provided valuable insight for the current HARPS student cohort, who were eager to connect with their more experienced peers and seek advice on navigating the upcoming year in the program. See below for a list of students and the projects they worked on.
