Alex Siegenfeld to represent the US in Tokyo

Hopkins student Alex Siegenfeld '11 will be one of four students to compete on the USA team in the 42nd annual International Chemistry Olympiad in Tokyo, Japan in July.
Hopkins student Alex Siegenfeld '11 has been attending Chemistry Camp at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO for the past few weeks along with the other top 19 chemistry students from around the country. News comes Colorado that Alex placed within the top four chemistry students in the country. This achievement means that Alex will travel to Tokyo, Japan July 19–28 to not only represent Hopkins, but also the United States of America as he competes in the 42nd annual International Chemistry Olympiad! Alex will be one of four students to compete on the USA team in the competition. We wish Alex and his teammates the best of luck in Tokyo!
