Hopkins was pleased to welcome current parent Dr. Paul Bloom to speak at this morning's assembly. Bloom is the Brooks and Suzanne Ragan professor of of Psychology and Cognitive Science at Yale University. His research explores how children and adults understand the physical and social world, with special focus on language, morality, religion, fiction, and art. Dr. Bloom spoke to the School about his findings on human nature, and focused on how the history of an object can affect the way we value certain things over others.
