On January 24, Hopkins held its first North West Coast area alumni/ae gathering in Portland, Oregon.
On January 24, Hopkins held its first North West Coast area alumni/ae gathering in Portland, Oregon. Fifteen Hopkins alumni/ae including a DPH alumna and a Day alumna from the Oregon and Seattle, Washington areas gathered at, of all places, the BridgePort Brew Pub in downtown Portland. All were amazed that there were so many in the area. Equally amazing were the connections that many shared. Classmates and teammates who had not seen each other in years, not to mention fans of David Yudkin's '77 Hotlips Pizza lead to lively conversations, reminiscences and a Pizza challenge. A great time was had by all.
