Some impressive finishing led Hopkins to an 8-1 win over visiting Canterbury. The Hilltoppers are now 4-3-1 this season.
Senior Jack Consiglio made it 1-1 after finishing from junior Michael Imevbore's through ball. Goals then followed for senior Robert Tullonge (assisted by captain Luca Richo), freshman Max Fujimori (assisted by Tullonge) and Tullonge again (assisted by frosh Michael Kluger).
In the second half, Fujimori got his second (again assisted by Tullonge) before Consiglio did the same (also assisted by Tullonge). Kluger assisted the final two for junior Dan Tencic and sophomore Liam Spellacy, who both scored their first Hilltopper goals.
Sophomore Owen Lamothe and Junior Teddy Glover split time in goal, while captains Avi Shein, Kiernan Barket, and seniors Alex Schuster and Khelan Parikh led the Hilltopper defense.
Hopkins next plays The Gunnery at home on Tuesday. Kickoff is at 3:30.
