Hopkins three-peats in the FAA

Hopkins beat St. Luke's 3-0 this afternoon to secure a third consecutive FAA tournament championship. Fantastic support from the Hopkins community propelled the team to a bright start. Robert Tullonge (2020) brought down a ball in the St. Luke's box that Luca Richo (2020) thrashed home to give the Hilltoppers an early 1-0 lead. Richo assisted our critical second goal a minute before the first half ended. After Jack Consiglio (2020) was brought down outside the box, Richo smartly fed Michael Imevbore (2021), who finished cooly into the opposite corner. Consiglio scored at the very beginning of the second half. Richo exchanged passes with Dan Tencic (2021) before finding Henry Glover (2024) out wide. Glover sent a long cross into the box and Consiglio headed home. Owen Lamothe (2022) and Teddy Glover (2021) both had three saves. Kiernan Barket (2020), Collin Gernhardt (2020), Alex Schuster (2020), Khelan Parikh (2020), Zach Bleil (2022), and Henry Glover (2024) were resolute and preserved the shutout. The Hilltoppers have now won the last four FAA regular season titles and the last three FAA tournament championships. We finish the season at 9-7-1.
