During the long weekend of February 14–17, 47 Junior School students and five chaperones, led by French teacher Sarah du Plessis, visited Québec City to experience Carnaval, its annual winter celebration.

During the trip, the group participated in various winter activities, including dog sledding, snowshoeing, and tubing. They also toured the Citadel—an active military installation and the secondary official residence of the Governor General of Canada—and visited the famous Ice Hotel.

These experiences uphold Hopkins’ tradition of immersing Junior School students in Francophone culture and creating lasting memories.
