Football Triumphs in The Pit

Quarterback David Brotman '06 keyed a hard fought victory over King of Stamford. Brotman ran for two TD's and threw for another. Andrew Parr '05 (3yd TD & a 2pt conversion)rushed for 81 tough yards on 13 carries and Chris Stewart '06 rushed for 124yds on 26 carries. Josh Rosenblatt led the receivers with 2 catches for 39 yds and a touchdown. Kier Goodrich added a 30 yd FG with 17 seconds left in the first half.

Defensively, the Hilltoppers were led by Rocky Gallo, Will Garner, David Aitoro and Nick Perkins. The defense accounted for three fumble recoveries and two interceptions.

Coach Parr was happy with the overall TEAM play on both sides of the ball.

The Team travels to Horace Mann next Saturday for a 3 o'clock kickoff.
