Hopkins Hilltoppers battle the Storm... and prevail.
G. Casanova
Hopkins battled with Saint Luke's, 2016, FAA champions and came on top after 80 minutes of exciting soccer.
Co captain Erin Knox '18 scored from an assist from Charlotte Yin on a corner kick towards the end of the first half. But the Storm came back strong in the second half and eventually scored two of their own. It took resilience and determination for the Hilltoppers to even the score and eventually prevail. Co Captain Emily Yin managed to do both by finding the back of Saint Luke's net !
Jess D'Errico, our third Co Captain had seven saves in goal.
Next game is at Dobbs Ferry New York, on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. against Masters.
