"Mamma Mia" Brings Down the House!
The cast and crew of Mamma Mia brought down the house last weekend. The exceptional group filled the Lovell stage with powerhouse performances and exuberant dance numbers to the delight of sold out audiences all weekend, March 2–5, 2023.
As the curtain fell on their production, so did the curtain on Lovell Hall. The storied building that generations of Hopkins thespians and theater enthusiasts have called home since 1959 will now be closed, as the building will be renovated into a new Academic and Performing Arts Center, set to open in the fall of 2024. Over the next few months we will celebrate the legacy of Lovell through the voices of students, alumni, and faculty.
