Hopkins JETS Teams place 1st in State Competition

The Hopkins JETS (Junior Engineering Technical Society) team, coached by math teacher Peter Swan, competed for state and national ranking in the 2010 tournament.
On March 15th, the Hopkins JETS Team competed at the University of New Haven in "Water, Water, Everywhere." The theme gave students a chance to tackle questions about the critical and global need of providing access to one of nature's most vital resources on earth: clean water.

The Connecticut State results placed the Hopkins 11/12 A Team and the 9/10 A Team in first place, and the 11/12 B Team came in third place.

In National results, Hopkins came in second place.

Congratulations to the all three teams for this incredible achievement!
