The Hilltoppers ran into a very strong Choate team on Monday afternoon on our home field. The boys played well, particularly on the defensive side of the ball, and went into halftime only down by a 0-1 score. In the second half the opponents seemingly upped their passing precision and pace and Hopkins worked very hard to keep up, but gave up three goals in a nine minute span and ultimately fell by a 0-5 score. Tongil Ko and Mitch Patton played well in the back for Hopkins and Kieran Knott led the effort in midfield.
Hopkins is a private middle school and high school for grades 7-12. Located on a campus overlooking New Haven, CT, the School takes pride in its intellectually curious students as well as its dedicated faculty and staff.
