The Positive Coaching Alliance is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is "to change the culture of youth sports so that every child, regardless of social or economic circumstance, has access to a positive youth sports experience." Learn more about PCA here.
On Wednesday, 1/7 at 12:30 PM, PCA will present "Making Teammates Better" in B8. The workshop is open to 10th and 11th graders, and captains. The workshop aims to provide student-athletes a deeper view into how teammates can help each other improve through leadership, positive communication, and positive initiation. PCA will be back on Wednesday, 1/14 at 6:00 PM in the Weissman Room, presenting "Developing Competitors and Mental Wellness through Positive Coaching". The workshop aims to show coaches how stress can impact their players, and how forming a supportive connection can help buffer the impacts of the stress.
