After a long bus trip and a short warm up on a blustery day, Hopkins took a while to get into this game. By then KO had already scored two goals. Although there were bright moments including a nice goal from Aline Ko ’17 following up on a well adjusted pass from co-captain Alex McCraven ’17 midway through the first half, the visitors never quite got their rhythm together.
With added injuries during the second half, Hopkins weathered the storm and fought courageously but was not able to stem the tide. Kingswood found seams in Hopkins’ defense and the back of the net three more times.
We will have to regroup for Saturday’s Homecoming.
