Dr. Pingfei Guan visits Hopkins
Dr. Pingfei Guan from Cheshire Chinese Medical Center visited Hopkins’ Chinese classes on Thursday, April 20. Dr. Guan is a doctor of Chinese medicine who is certified in acupuncture and Chinese herbs. During his visit, Dr. Guan introduced the philosophy of Chinese medicine, explained acupuncture and fire cupping, demonstrated pulse reading, and taught students eye massage. Students showed interest in pulse reading diagnostics and learned the benefits of Chinese herbal treatment.
