HDA’s Halvorsen ’17, Treat ’18 and “Godspell” bring home 4 HALO Awards!

Congratulations to the Hopkins Drama Association (HDA) who brought home 4 HALO awards at a special evening of performances and awards at the Palace Theater in Waterbury on Wednesday, May 31. 
 
Hopkins winners were:
  • Andrew Treat ’18 for Best Performance by a Supporting Actor in a Play for the role as Iago in Othello
  • Tim Halvorsen ’17 for Best Standout Performance in an Ensemble Musical for the role of Jesus in Godspell
  • The cast of Godspell for Best Performance by a Cast in an Ensemble Play or Musical; 
  • and Best Classical Musical Award to HDA’s production of Godspell
 
The HDA crew spent a fun evening hosted by the Seven Angels Theater, dressed to impress and rubbing shoulders with their peers from around the state. The Godspell cast performed “All for the Best” to the packed theater before learning of their big win!
