We'd been looking forward to this match for quite a while. This time last year on the Greenwich courts, GA was the only team we'd lose to. A lot of hard work has been done since then, and there was no question this afternoon, that Hopkins had the stronger team on the courts, finishing up 5-2. For the most part, there were some extremely competitive matches, and even the two that we dropped were outstanding. Congratulations, girls!
Friday we're on to Stamford to play King for the FAA title. Greenwich was the biggest obstacle to overcome, but we still have to win against King to claim it. Then on Monday, to the FAA finals with 1 and 2 singles, and 1 and 2 doubles.
We couldn't be prouder coaches! Go Hop!
