Hilltoppers take on the Vikings.

Although the host team took a determined start, it took the Hilltoppers more than 25 minutes to find their mark. This was done by Anna SIMON '20 who opened the flood gates for the Hopkins team which scored four times during the fourteen minutes that were left in the first half. Ella ZUSE '21, Riley LIPMAN '21, Sophia FITZSIMONDS '20, Grace RHATIGAN '21 and Abby MILLS'19 participated in these forays, scoring or assisting goals.
The second period saw the Hilltoppers extend their lead with co-captains Emma LIPMAN'19 and Lilly FAGAN '20 combining for a goal very early and two more goals tallied later by Anna SIMON and Julia TELLIDES '20.
The midfield was controlled by Hopkins for most of the game and Hopkins defense denied the Vikings with strong performances from Katie PARK '21, Riley TOOKER '22, Melody PARKER '19 and Krista PARK '22. Goal keepers Rayane TAROUA '20 and Emma DeNAPLES '19 where there when it counted and combined for their third shut out.
This was another impressive victory for the Hilltoppers who are learning to play together. They will face Rye at home this Saturday and will have to be ready for the challenge.
