Hopkins' fearless J-school team came out to play this afternoon and posted a solid first victory of the season. Serves found the corners, drives flew deep, and each player showed great hustle. The sportsmanship of both teams was remarkable as well. Highlights of the day include:
---David was the first to get on the board with his first victory of his first match of the season. He did an excellent job controlling the middle of the court. Great job!
---Ava fought to take the first game 15-13 on her way to claiming her match.
---Congrats to Nicole, Samantha, Maeve, Kian and Silas for their first victories of the season.
---Ethan, Michael and Lucas showed great heart in their matches against really tough opponents.
---Way to go, Dev and Logan and Emma for your hard work to earn your victories today.
